Mount Arafat
Mount Arafat, also known as Jabal ar-Rahmah or the Mountain of Mercy, is a
70-meter grandiorite hill located about 20 km southeast of Mecca. It holds significant Islamic importance as the site where Prophet Muhammad PUBH delivered his Farewell Sermon during his last Hajj. Many Muslims also believe it was where Adam and Eve were reunited and forgiven, hence its name.
